Digitization symposium 9. January 2014 - Final program

The final program for the symposium on the digitization of Swedish Natural History collections can now be downloaded with in the symposium flyer.

The symposium is hosted by GBIF Sweden and Digisam and will introduce the background and outline for a planned large-scale national initiative for the digitization of Swedish natural history collections. The invited presentations will provide an overview of the field and address the political, scientific and technical aspects of the envisaged digitization initiative.

A preliminary list of confirmed speakers and themes of the GBIF digitization symposium has now been included in the symposium flyer.

The symposium is organized by GBIF Sweden in collaboration with Digisam and will present an outline for a large-scale national initiative for the digitization of Swedish natural history collections. Several high-profile speakers will address the political, scientific and technical aspects of the envisaged digitization initiative.
